Abstract
With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence and the expansion of its applications across various domains, Islamic and human sciences have also been significantly influenced by this technological transformation. The use of intelligent technologies in processing religious texts, analyzing Islamic concepts, and deriving Sharīʿa rulings has created unprecedented opportunities for researchers. However, the application of these technologies is accompanied by numerous ethical challenges that require in-depth examination and the development of appropriate solutions. This study adopts a descriptive–analytical approach to investigate the ethical challenges arising from the use of artificial intelligence in Islamic and human sciences studies. Among the issues examined are algorithmic bias, distortion of religious concepts, accountability in AI-based decision-making, threats to privacy and data security, and broader cultural and social implications. The research methodology is based on qualitative data analysis and library-based sources, enabling a comprehensive evaluation of the various dimensions of these challenges. The findings indicate that the use of artificial intelligence in Islamic studies, without adherence to ethical principles, may result in the distortion of religious texts, misinterpretation of religious teachings, and the weakening of cultural identity. The study also highlights that mitigating these risks requires the development of precise ethical and regulatory frameworks, the design of transparent and controllable AI models, and the integration of human expertise with intelligent technologies. The novelty of this research lies in proposing a comprehensive model for the ethical governance and management of artificial intelligence in Islamic and human sciences, which can serve as a foundation for future research and policy development.
