About Journal

Dear Researchers in the field of information technology (IT) and Islamic studies and humanities 

In line with its mission, Computer Research Center of Islamic Sciences (also known as Noor Center) has decided to publish a bi-quarterly journal of digital Islamic studies and humanities. This scientific research journal is published with the approach of expanding and deepening research in fields related to the interdisciplinary field of information technology (IT) and Islamic studies and humanities. This journal is planning to respond to the basic needs of the scientific and elite community in the field of digital Islamic studies and humanities.

In this journal, attention will be paid to those researches that use the technologies of artificial intelligence, data mining, text mining and natural language processing, and seek to make religious knowledge more efficient in the face of new needs and questions in the field of Islamic sciences and humanities.

One of the goals of the Journal is to introduce the new findings of the researchers of digital Islamic sciences and humanities to scientific, national and international forums, as well as support their researches and establish a communication network among researchers.

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Publication Ethics

The journal adheres to the principles, guidelines, and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with national regulations concerning the prevention of academic misconduct and scientific fraud.

Plagiarism Screening Policy

All submitted manuscripts are screened for similarity and potential plagiarism using the SamimNoor Similarity Detection System (samimnoor.ir) before entering the peer-review process.

Repository policy

The Digital Journal of Islamic and Humanities Studies permits authors to deposit both the accepted manuscript version and the final published version of their articles, without any time embargo, in institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, personal websites, and other reputable scholarly repositories, provided that full citation is given to the original publication of the article in this journal.

Important Notes for Authors

The journal does not charge any fees for manuscript review, acceptance, or publication. Reproduction and redistribution of published materials are permitted provided that proper citation of the original source is given.

In accordance with the requirements of the National Commission for Scientific Journals, all authors are required to register and display a valid ORCID iD and provide an official university or institutional email address. Authors are therefore requested to obtain an ORCID identifier and an academic/institutional email account before submitting their manuscripts.

Authors should carefully determine and enter the order of authorship during manuscript submission. The submitted order will be considered final and will be reflected in the published article. Requests for modification of authorship order after publication cannot be accommodated by the journal.
