Human Bridge: Reconstructing Social Networks with Artificial Intelligence for Meaningful Encounters and Reducing Severe Social Withdrawal

Abstract
The increasing prevalence of digital interactions in everyday life has raised growing concerns about social isolation and withdrawal, exemplified by the phenomenon of hikikomori. To address this issue, NoghtehPal has been developed as an intelligent social platform designed to bridge the gap between online interactions and real-world encounters, with a particular focus on mitigating the challenges associated with excessive internet use and hikikomori tendencies. The platform provides an advanced digital environment in which users can securely connect with one another based on shared interests while experiencing a seamless transition from virtual conversations to face-to-face meetings. It is specifically designed to reduce social withdrawal and facilitate the progression from online communication to meaningful in-person interactions. By integrating technologies such as intelligent voice recognition and a dedicated safety button, the platform establishes a secure environment that supports user interactions grounded in common interests. The results of a user survey indicate that the interactive map, AI-powered chatbot, and user rating system are the most essential features for facilitating successful face-to-face meetings. The system has been developed using a microservices architecture and aims to transform the social networking application industry by promoting secure, meaningful, and trust-based human connections.
