The expansion and variety of accessibility of contents and resources in digital humanities has made humanities researchers face a serious challenge. This challenge has progressed to a critical and unsolvable level. If the validity and reliability of a research depends on the maximum or complete collection of contents, how can the researcher reach a conclusion from a mass of data? One solution is to leave the inference to AI to compile with ideal or more ideal power and speed than human power. This is a danger because the use of artificial intelligence to collect the maximum or complete content has irreparable consequences, one of which - and perhaps the most important - is the loss of human agency in research, which deprives him of achieving the desired results. The wait will lead to the birth of "machine humanities". Considering that one of the main transformative factors of the humanities at the beginning of the 21st century is the shift from analog to a wide range of digital resources, and on the other hand digital humanities must remain largely humanities, this question is raised. To what extent are the humanities digitalized? Perhaps one answer is that what is needed here is a moderate digital humanities in which, although most of the humanities will be transformed and as a result all parts of the humanities will be digitized to some extent, not all will be digitized equally. Therefore, the main issue here is to be more or less digital.
